Tisja Kljaković - 2004
Tisja's paintings are formally nudes but mainly built, at first glance, with incompatible tehnical procedure, or even with language of different media. The most important and representative in her work is drawing, or sketches of faces like Modigliani's or funeral masks (like those in Red nude), and indication of lims, while the other anatomical surfaces (like haunch) are looking like abstract colorful areas., mostly white and grey with certain flash of pure color. Still, there is reduction in her work, and even unification of figure and background with almost compulsory diagonal directons. The gama is lighter, and impasto more transparent.
